Small Group Training

SMALL GROUP TRAINING (SGT)

Get the results you have been looking for. SGT signature classes are designed to be the total-body training session that will take you to the next level! Increase your strength and cardio fitness in these 45-minute classes to get the fitness results you strive for! Our coaches work with you in a small group setting offering a fun safe and challenging workout. They will monitor you and modify exercises based on your individual needs. The group setting will motivate you and push you harder than if you were to work out on your own.  Best of all you will meet new workout friends at Wayside!

CLASSES

Our coaches use a variety of equipment like TRX Suspension Trainers, Medicine Balls, Sleds, Slide Boards, Concept 2 Rowers, Heavy Bag, Kettlebells, and more to target different parts of your body. Fun and effective 45-60 minute classes, working out major muscle groups and alternating between strength and cardiovascular exercises. Our coaches take out the extra work of you planning a fitness routine.


NEW BOOTCAMP

A high-intensity workout focusing on strength building and muscular endurance. Tone your entire body and build your cardiovascular capacity with this fun and challenging circuit training class.

  • This is a 4-week session.
  • Meets every Saturday at 8:30-9:30
  • Classes are located in the Wayside Performance Room.
  • A minimum of 10 participants must be pre-registered for the session to run
  • All sales are final unless the session does not run

Members: $40 | Non-Members: $60

NEW WOMEN’S SELF DEFENSE

NEXT SESSION RUNS APRIL 28-MAY 19

  • 4-Week Session
  • Meets Every Sunday from 2-3 pm
  • Learn realistic self-defense tactics and techniques.
  • These classes will provide strategies to reduce or avoid risk from attackers or other assailants.
  • No equipment is needed, just come in comfortable workout attire.
  • The class must have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 participants to run.
  • All sales are final unless the session does not run
  • WOMEN AGE 16 & UP

Members: $80 | Non-Members: $120

REGISTER NOW FOR WOMEN’S SELF DEFENSE

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

In order to provide the best possible experience for SGT, all of our small group training classes require pre-registration. There is a minimum of 5 participants to run the class. A maximum of 12 will be enrolled in each class. You will be turned away if you have not pre-registered for class.

Members: To pre-register for an SGT class, please use the member app or log in through the website with your user credentials. You will receive a confirmation that you are enrolled in the class.

 


HOW TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES

To register for any of our Small Group Training Classes, log into your Wayside Athletic Club account on our website or on the APP.

You will need to have an active email on file with the club Please confirm with the front desk

Please click here sign in and/or create an account on our APP. If you have an existing account on our APP click on “SIGN IN”.

If you have a membership but not an account on our APP click on “CREATE ACCOUNT”.

Do Not click on “Don’t have a membership or an account” on the login page. 

Once logged in, select “CLASSES” and then scroll to the class(s) you wish to register for, click on enroll now.

You will receive a confirmation email once enrolled.

To cancel a registration, please go to your dashboard and click on your enrolled class, click details, then click on “cancel”.

All cancelations must be made 24 hours in advance otherwise a $20 no show/late cancellation fee ($10 for SGT) will be applied to your account.

Registration for classes can be done 7 days in advance. Please register at least 24 hours in advance of any class.

If a class is filled, you will automatically be put on a waitlist. Please check the online registration site often to see if an opening has become available. You will NOT get a notification if a spot becomes available.  If you are on the waitlist, you will have priority registration should a spot become available.
