Health Insurance Reimbursement

You Took The First Step

We are so happy you have decided to join Wayside Athletic Club to stay healthy. Did you know you may be able to get rewarded for this? Most major insurance carriers now provide a Wellness Benefit to their members. It makes sense. When you stay healthy that means you should have less visits to the doctors office keeping health care costs down.

Every plan is different so we recommend that you contact your provider to see what your plan qualifies for and if you are eligible. If your plan does offer a reward for joining a fitness club Wayside Athletic Club qualifies. Most plans require a copy of a membership agreement or proof of purchase which can be downloaded directly from your account when you log in here

Below are a few of the major health insurance carriers that provide a fitness benefit. Don’t see yours listed?  Check with your provider to see if you can get rewarded.

 

Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA:

BC/BS is offering a full 3-Month Reimbursement for a qualifying health club membership  on some of their plans. To verify that this reimbursement is included in your plan, log in to Member Central on the BC/BS site or call Member Service and have your plan number ready from your ID card.

Tufts Health Plan:

Many Tufts plans offer up to a $150 reimbursement on a qualifying Health Club membership. You may file for reimbursement after 4 consecutive months of membership. Check with Tufts Member Service to get the level of fitness benefit in your plan.

HPHC offers up to $150 reimbursement on a qualifying Health Club membership. You may file for reimbursement after 4 consecutive months of membership. Check with HPHC member service to get the level of fitness benefit in your plan.

Fallon Health:

Fallon Health’s It Fits! is a fitness reimbursement program that gives you money back for your gym memberships, Pilates and yoga classes

For the amount, you’re eligible to receive, log into MyFallon, go to “Document Center” to see your plan documents. If you have any questions about eligibility for reimbursement call Fallon Customer Service at 1-800-868-5200 (TRS 711), Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
