TENNIS COURT TIME
All three bubbled tennis courts at Wayside Athletic Club can be booked 7 days in advance. For the 2024/2025 indoor tennis season at Wayside Athletic Club, we have eliminated court fees!
We are immediately eliminating court fees for “Open Court Play.” That’s right—enjoy unlimited tennis with no additional charges for open court time. This change is our way of encouraging more play and making your tennis experience even more enjoyable.
HOW TO MAKE A TENNIS COURT RESERVATION
To ensure bookings and cancellations are done correctly and in a timely manner to avoid cancellation fees, members must book on their own through the app or portal, not through the front desk. Below is how to get started.
- Credit Card on File: All participants (members & non-members) must have an active credit card on file to register or participate in any paid programming.
- Download and launch the “Wayside Athletic Club” App for iOS or Android Phones and log in using the credentials you set up
- Using a PC? Go to the member portal and log in.
- Tap “Reservations” As Service
- Select tennis & tap done
- Select Date and Duration (you can book 7 days in advance)
- Add a Participant (The system requires at least 2 or 4 people on the reservation unless reserving the ball machine on court 1) you will need to know at least one of the other players you are playing with at the time of making the reservation.
- If you do not add a second player you won’t see any courts available
- Tap Search to see available courts
- For specific courts choose advanced settings using the app or select the court from the “Where” drop-down menu check the court you only want to play on hit apply and then book that court
- Select the time you’d like to play
- Tap Reserve
- All participants will receive a confirmation email for your reservation
BALL MACHINE RENTAL
Improve your stroke consistency by renting a ball machine! Members may rent the ball machine by booking Court A.
- Reserve the ball machine via the member portal or the Wayside Athletic Club App
- Court A is the only court that has a ball machine.
- Be sure to select Court A and click the ball machine button to allow the app and portal to show the court available
- Effective November 1, 2024 the fee to use the ball machine is $40 per hour or $20 for a half hour
- A $100 fee will be charged if the remote is not returned
BALL MACHINE RULES
- Ball machine balls and the remote can be picked up and returned at the front desk
- Please complete ball clean-up before the end of your session
- Remember to check behind curtains for balls
- Use the sweeper to collect ball fuzz in front of the machine
- Do not run over the power cord

CONTRACT TIME
