Dear members and staff,
We hope this email finds you, your family and friends safe and well. It has been over 50 days since we all saw each other at the club. We can’t wait to open our doors again and see you back at Wayside Athletic Club.
We are excited to let you know that our Private Facebook page, “Wayside Fitness” is available to all current members where you can take part in live and pre-recorded classes, have access to at home workouts, get nutritional tips, ask questions and most importantly, remain part of the Wayside Community.
To get started visit https://www.facebook.com/groups/waysidefitness and request to be approved. Once your membership is verified you will gain access to view content made especially for our Wayside Community by our very own staff. Wayside plans to continue some virtual/remote solutions even after we reopen. If you can’t make it to the club, join the class.
The team at Wayside continues to monitor the developments through global, national and local organizations, including: WHO, CDC, USTA, Red Cross, MHA, AHA, various Aquatics Groups, other industry organizations and consultants. We are participating in global calls discussing the experiences of opening, member safety, and what everyone’s expectations will be on day one.
While we await detailed rules on club operations, there will be mandated changes, we are already developing policies and practices around social distancing, enhanced cleaning, class registration, limited or controlled access to certain areas and establishing new hours of operation.
We continue to have a small team here onsite to keep the facility clean, monitor pool chemical levels and attend to other day to day operations needs.
Please continue to check the home page and blog section of our website, Facebook and Instagram for club updates. Stay safe and healthy and continue to comply with the Governor and Mayors guidelines to help flatten the curve.
