Summer is {sigh} almost over. We aren’t quite sure how September is less than 2 weeks away, but it is. This summer has been an absolute blast with so many firsts, like Thursday night Float Nights featuring FLAMINGO rentals, pizza night, lower guest fees, summer Fit Kids classes, new GroupEx class concepts etc., but last week was epic.

This past Thursday, Nia led a sold-out outdoor cycle class, complete with a chill, summery, energetic playlist. The “pre-ride” playlist even included hits by Bob Marley and Kenny Chesney that you’d hear lounging on an island.

The ride opener was called “Dive in the Pool” which was a great beat with enticing lyrics which set the tone for the entire ride! As if an outdoor ride on a sunny Thursday evening wasn’t enough…Yummy Mummy Bakery sampled tasty treats and Wachusett Brewing Company let us taste their best-selling adult beverages after the ride. It wasn’t easy getting the bikes down from the cycle studio…but it was definitely worth it!

Then came Friday–we hosted our first ever pop-up Community Zumba class at the Wayside Inn Grist Mill. If you’ve ever been, you know it’s a picturesque location, but it was even better with the music blasting! We had some current members and met some new friends. We got rained on a little but, but had so much fun.

We’re going to continue living up the last few weeks of summer and then we’ll fall into….fall. Continue to follow us so you never miss a beat…or a pop-up class. More to come before the grounds are snow-covered {insert angry face}. Check out our Facebook page for live videos from both events!
